In order to provide Erasmus+ programme activities in Latvia in the fields of education and training State Education Development Agency (SEDA) evaluates and selects project applications, signs agreements with project implementers, provides informative support, monitors the progress and performance of the projects, administrates financial resources of the European Commission by checking and approving payment requests for project implementation.
Programme encloses centralised as well as decentralised activities. Centralised activities are administrated by Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, whilst decentralised – by National Agencies. Projects in the field of education and training are administrated by SEDA, and in the field of youth – by Agency for International Programs for Youth.
Erasmus+ programme supports: mobility for individuals for learning purposes; cooperation projects of institutions for promotion of innovation and exchanges of good practices; Jean Monet activities; reforms in education; projects in the field of sport; Erasmus+ Master Loans.
