Call for proposals Nordplus Nordic languages

Nordplus nordic languages calls for an extra application round with deadline October 1st 2015.

The goal for the program:

  • to support activities that improve language comprehension among young people of the Nordic languages, primarily Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.
  • as well as developing materials, methods and strategies for improving comprehension of the Nordic languages on all levels within the educational systems.

The program is open for all types of institutions in all Nordic / Baltic countries and is open for a large variety of activities: e.g. meetings, conferences, research, teaching materials, courses and any type of project that promotes formal or informal learning of another nordic language. But projects must have a good pedagogical substance, have their main focus on promoting the learning of Nordic languages and applications must be written in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian.

Projects furthermore must have a partnership of 3 Nordic / Baltic countries and this application round has a special focus on facilitating network building through joint meetings in Nordic / Baltic countries. If you are interested in working on future projects with Nordic languages but you lack a partner, please contact Sigrun.Olafsdottir@Rannis.is and tell us a bit about yourself: what you are working with at the moment and what sort of project collaboration you would like to participate in (note that regular class exchanges are not supported in this program). We will gather this information and help you find a possible project partner.
